In episode 9 of The Roseburg Dojo Show, students and parents speak about how Dynamic Martial Arts helps students develop self discipline and respect. Each class begins and ends with a show of respect to parents, instructors, peers, and oneself. The term "rei" is the Japanese word for respect and is the cue for our bow at the beginning and ending of class, as well as to our practice partners at the beginning and ending of practice. Our student creeds are also methods for reinforcing the idea of self respect and respect for others.
